One step closer, every day

DreamStep · iOS

Privacy Policy

DreamStep helps you break big ambitions into gentle daily steps on your iPhone. Below is a clear outline of what the app touches, what remains yours alone, and what we refuse to commercialize.

Who This Applies To

This Privacy Policy covers the DreamStep mobile app on the Apple App Store and the read-only content API hosted on this site. It is meant for app users and anyone viewing this page in a browser.

Information We Handle

DreamStep does not require a name, email, phone number, mailing address, government ID, or payment information to use its core planning features.

Goals, step labels, reflection notes, and completion marks you enter are stored for your in-app experience. We do not repurpose that material for targeted advertising or resale.

When the app fetches starter copy — onboarding screens, sample steps, or motivational snippets — it may load public JSON from this website. Those files hold generic templates, not your private entries.

Device Access

DreamStep relies on standard iOS capabilities such as local storage and network access to load optional remote content or sync where supported. We do not request contacts, photos, microphone, or location unless a future feature clearly needs it and this policy is updated.

If you enable Apple system diagnostics, limited technical metadata may be processed by Apple under its own privacy terms.

Third-Party Hosting

Infrastructure partners deliver this policy page and our public API. They process server logs required to operate the service and follow their own privacy practices.

Should we add optional analytics or support tools later, we will document them here and collect only what is needed for that function.

Young Users

DreamStep is not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly gather personal data from minors. If you believe a child submitted information through the app, contact App Store support and we will assist with removal where possible.

Keeping Your Data Safe

Entries you keep in DreamStep remain under your control on your device. Delete individual steps or uninstall the app to remove locally stored content.

We apply reasonable safeguards for hosted pages and APIs. No digital service is perfectly secure — treat sensitive dreams the way you would in a private journal.

Your Choices

You may stop using DreamStep at any time. Disable network access in iOS Settings for an offline-only experience where the app allows it.

For access, correction, or deletion requests related to data we manage, use the support contact on the App Store listing.

Changes

We may update this policy when DreamStep evolves or laws change. The date above will change for material revisions. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy where permitted by law.
